Factum – Cardio Kickboxing

Imagine burning 1,000 calories in an hour, having a great time, and learning how to become one stone-cold striker. Welcome to Cardio Kickboxing.

In this class we will warm you up for 10 minutes, teach you the basics of technical punching and kicking for another 10 minutes every class, and then follow that up with 40 minutes of a rigorous, sweat-pumping circuit training.

Beginners or experts alike will enjoy this class as we will refine anybodies technique, but more importantly, you will be getting as much as 1,000 strikes in the hour, both getting striking practice, and getting a great workout.

Factum Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting.

Made famous by the Gracie family out of Brazil over the last century, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the most common form of martial arts on the ground.

It promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.

Perfect for those who want to get in shape and learn to protect themselves without the pain and bruising that comes with other martial arts that involve striking.

We welcome you into any of our daily classes at Factum with our professional instructors who will teach you everything you need to know about submission wrestling.

Factum MMA - Muay Thai

Muay Thai is a martial art originating from Thailand that uses stand-up striking techniques along with various clinching holds. Known as the “art of Eight Points” it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins/feet.

It has become the de facto striking style of choice for competitive Mixed Martial Arts because unlike boxing, and kickboxing, it shows how to use your knees, elbows and shins combined with the devastatingly powerful Thai clinch.

Here at Factum we have professional instructors, who have daily classes focused on this discipline that will help you become a complete MMA striker.

Factum - Cage Fitness

Cage Fitness is a total body conditioning workout, geared to get you ready for anything you encounter, using techniques used by professional fighters in the cage. Throw knees, submissions, punches and more as you burn the fat away through multiple circuit training stations.

Factum Boxing

Taught by legendary boxer, and boxing trainer, Tim Caroll, Factum Boxing boasts some of Utah's top talent. Every weekday from 5:15 pm - 7:15 pm, Tim will push you just past your comfort zone and turn your hands into lightning bolts. Beginners, intermediate and pro boxers of all ages are all welcome at these classes.

Off Season Wrestling

Welcome to the Factum Wrestling, home of the state’s premier off-season wrestling program with the goal of sending you back to your high school next year a completely new wrestler ready to stand at the top of any podium. Our facility is top notch and our instructors are former Utah State Champions committed to making you the best possible wrestler you can be.

For the first time ever in Utah we are offering a FULL off-season wrestling program focused on making you faster, more efficient, smarter and more technical, and you WILL become a top-notch champion if you learn from us.

We will do this by having 5 practices a week designed NOT to burn you out! This is NOT an intensive wrestling camp…

It’s a FULL YEAR PROGRAM, filled with new, usable wrestling techniques. We won’t overwhelm your brain, but instead give you time to retain and practice every move… we will also send you back “CrossFit” as you will have full access to our CrossFit classes as well.

We will teach you how to drill in the most efficient way possible, give you speed drills to make you a faster wrestler, and of course LIVE MAT time. Becoming great involves putting the time in on the MAT, and we are offering a lot of it.

If you consider the regular season might have maybe 3 practices a week, we will be offering you almost twice that with 5 practices a week for eight months. Giving you 3 off-seasons worth of wrestling in just one off season.

High school wrestling coaches are of course welcome to come in and train with us, and monitor their athletes progress.

You have nothing to lose with our 100% money back guarantee. After the first month, if you don’t feel you’re making incredible strides, or if you simply aren’t having fun, I will refund your first months membership, in essence, paying you to wrestle in our gym. To qualify you must attend at least 4 practices in that first month.

We also don’t demand any long term contracts… Sign up and pay month-to-month and when you are ready to quit, simply give us 30-day notice with no cancellation penalties.

We are also a complete combat academy, and if interested, we will transform your wrestling skills into regulation cage fighting skills.

So come join our community here at Factum Wrestler, and let us turn you into the best wrestler you can be.

Factum MMA

Wanna learn to win in the cage? How about to defend yourself? Factum MMA is the class you MUST take. We focus on not one martial art in this class, but how best to combine the various martial arts into one lethal fighter. We will teach you how to incorporate the striking you learn in muay thai to set up your wrestling style takedowns, so that you can pummel your opponent with strikes and submissions, the ones you learned in Jiu Jitsu. We also focus on the arts that have proven effective in the UFC.

Every UFC fighter has some level of experience in muay thai, wrestling and jiu jitsu. No katas, no belts just practical MMA that builds champions.
